Habitat for Humanity had a new Restore open in February in Panmure, this is the largest of the all the Restores the other three are based in Pukekohe, Henderson and East Tamaki. All of the Restores The Hugh Green Foundation has supported in order to make it possible for Habitat for Humanity to ensure they can succeed in their goals which is everyone deserves a decent place to live. All the sales made generate funds to support
Habitat's building programmes while reducing the amount of used materials in overflowing landfills. The Panmure Restore is changing the face of the charity shops by offering more than just affordable pre- loved items. They are also offering free craft workshops to help benefit the growing community by teaching them a new set of skills. The idea behind the free art and craft workshops are to try and motivate people to get out of bed and recycle their things, and at the same time they are making their surroundings much better for themselves.
